Select Photos

1. Click the 'store' tab at the top of most pages.
2. In the bar on the left side of the page, find 'shop by product,' and click 'photo books' beneath it.
3. In the main part of the page, the first item featured is FlipBooks. Click 'create now' in the FlipBook section.
4. On the next page, select the background of your FlipBook pages by clicking the button next to the one you prefer. Then click the yellow 'continue' button at the bottom of the page.
5. Select the albums that contain the photos you'd like to use. Click the buttons beneath your albums, and then click the yellow 'select albums' button.
6. Select the photos you'd like to use in the same manner.

       Arrange Photos

7. Once you've selected all the photos for your book, you can arrange the pages in your book.
8. To rearrange your pages, click on a photo and drag it to the symbol next to the desired position. As you drag the photo on top of the symbol, it will change color. When it does, drop the photo, and it will re-appear in its new position. Repeat this step for each photo that needs to be rearranged.
9. To rotate a photo, click the symbol below the photo. Each time you click the rotate symbol, the photo will rotate 90 degrees clockwise. You may need to click the symbol a few times to finish rotating.
10. To remove a photo/page from your book, click the 'remove' link beneath the photo.
11. 11. When you are finished arranging your photos/pages, click the 'continue' button.

       Add captions

12. Every page in your FlipBook can contain a custom caption. The existing captions from your album(s) will automatically appear in the text boxes, or you can add new captions by removing and typing new text into the boxes next to each photo.
13. Note that changing your captions in your FlipBook will not affect the existing captions in your album(s).
14. If you prefer no captions in your FlipBook, check the box next to 'I prefer no captions in my FlipBook.'
    
    Note: The first page of your FlipBook is a title page, so you may want to use a special caption.
15. After finalizing your captions, click the "continue" button.

       Review

16. Before purchasing your FlipBook, it's important to review it carefully to make sure the pages are in the correct order and that there are no spelling mistakes.
17. Use the 'previous' and 'next' buttons above the book to review each page in your FlipBook.
18. To add more photos to your FlipBook, click the 'add photos' link on the right.
19. To change the order of the photos/pages in your book, click the 'edit photos' link on the right.
20. To rotate a photo, click the 'rotate photo' link under the book preview.
21. To remove a photo/page from your book, navigate to the page and then click the 'delete this page' link under the book preview.
22. To change one or more captions in your book or to remove captions altogether, click the 'change captions' link on the right.
23. To select a different style (background design) for your FlipBook, click the 'change style' link on the right.
24. After reviewing each page in your FlipBook, enter the quantity of FlipBooks you'd like to purchase. Remember, you get 25% off additional copies! Then click the 'add to cart' button to checkout.

• Using the traditional method, in which you select each photo from your albums
• Use Photo Book Express, in which we pre-fill your book with photos from your albums. Then you go through, rearranging the photos and adding captions.
  
  A note about photo resolution: Photo Books require photos with a minimum resolution of 900x600 pixels. We will automatically check the resolution of the photos you choose to see if they are sufficient for your Photo Book. If your photo is not of an adequate resolution, the warning 'This photo is not recommended' will appear over the photo when you select it.
  
  Saving your Photo Book in process: Photo Books are special, and they can take some time to create. If you don't have time to complete your Photo Book in one sitting, you can save it and return to it later. Just click 'save for later' at the bottom of the page.

Create a Photo Book:

1. Click the 'store' tab at the top of most pages.
2. In the bar on the left side of the page, find 'shop by product,' and click 'photo books' beneath it.
3. In the main part of the page, the second item featured is Photo Books. In the Photo Book section, click 'create now.'
4. On the next page, select the color of your cover, your book style (single- or double-sided pages), and whether or not you'd like to include captions. Then click 'continue.'
   
   Note: These choices apply to every page of your book, so every page will be single or double-sided, etc. Please note that there is no extra charge for double-sided pages, and the dedication page is available only in double-sided Photo Books. Also note that if you choose to exclude captions from your book, you will still be able to include a title on your cover.
   
   
5. There are several parts of your Photo Book that include your photos: the cover, the title page, and the remaining pages within the book. If you chose to have captions in your book, you will enter them at the same time you select the photo(s) for each page. Each page in your book can have one, two or three photos, with the exception of the cover and title pages, which can only have one photo each.
6. To design your cover page, select a photo from your album at the bottom of the page, then drag and drop it onto the cover above. The photo will appear on the cover. After choosing your photo, type in the title for your Photo Book in the text box below the photo (optional). When finished, click the 'next' button above the cover page to continue.
   
   Note: You can undo your most recent action by clicking on the white "undo" button. Once you undo it, it can be redone - just click the "redo" button. You can undo or redo up to 10 of your most recent actions by clicking on the small arrow next to "undo" or "redo" and selecting an action from the list that appears.
   
   
7. Like the cover, your title page can have only one photo on it, with a title of your choice (title optional). Select a photo from your album at the bottom of the page, and drag and drop it onto the page above. The photo will appear on the title page.
   
   Note: Be sure that the correct orientation for your photo is selected on the right hand side. For example, if you want to use a vertical photo on your title page, be sure to click the vertical page style on the right side of the book.
   
   
8. After choosing your photo, type in the caption for your Photo Book title page in the text box below the photo. You may want to use the same text as you did on the cover of your book. When finished, click the 'next' button above the title page to continue.
9. If your Photo Book is double-sided, the back page of your title page can include an optional dedication. Just type your dedication into the text box on the left hand side. If your Photo Book is single-sided, the dedication page will not appear.
10. Each of the remaining pages of your Photo Book can have one, two or three photos on it. First, click on a photo layout from the menu beside the page. Then, drag and drop photos from your album at the bottom of the page onto the page of your book. The photos will appear on the page.
11. To remove a photo from the page, click the 'remove photo' link underneath the photo on the page. To change the layout of your page, just click on a different layout in the side menu.
12. If you chose to have captions on your page, enter your caption in the text box below each photo.
13. Repeat the above steps for each page on the screen. Then click the 'next' button above the book to continue designing your Photo Book pages. Photo Books have a maximum of 150 pages.
14. When you are finished adding content to all the pages in your Photo Book, click the 'review' button to continue. Use the 'next' and 'previous' buttons above the book to review each page.
15. To make changes to a page, such as removing or adding photos or editing a caption, click the 'edit pages' link in the lower right corner below the book.
16. To change the color of your cover, whether your book is single or double-sided, and whether or not your Photo Book has captions, click the 'edit styles' link in the lower right corner below the book.
17. After reviewing each page in your Photo Book, enter the quantity of books you'd like to purchase. Remember, you get 25% off additional copies! Then click the 'add to cart' button to check out.

   Note: These choices apply to every page of your book, so every page will be single or double-sided, etc. Please note that there is no extra charge for double-sided pages, and the dedication page is available only in double-sided Photo Books. Also note that if you choose to exclude captions from your book, you will still be able to include a title on your cover.
   
   
6. The next page is your cover page. You will see that a photo has been selected for the cover. If you want this photo to be on the cover, simply leave it as is (and add a title in the caption slot). If you'd prefer a different photo for the cover, click 'remove photo' below the photo. Then drag a photo from the bottom of the page to the slot. When finished, click the 'next' button above the cover page to continue.
7. On the next page, you create the title page. Once again, if you like the photo that has been selected for you, simply leave it. If you'd prefer to use a different photo, drag a photo from your album at the bottom of the page and drop it into the slot. The photo will appear on the title page.
   
   Note: Be sure that the correct orientation for your photo is selected on the right hand side. For example, if you want to use a vertical photo on your title page, be sure to click the vertical page style on the right side of the book.
   
   
8. After choosing your photo, type in the caption for your Photo Book title page in the text box below the photo. You may want to use the same text as you did on the cover of your book. When finished, click the 'next' button above the title page to continue.

If not, click 'remove photo.' Then click on a photo layout from the menu beside the page. After that, drag and drop photos from your album at the bottom of the page onto the page of your book. 2. In the bar on the left side of the page, find 'shop by product,' and click 'cards and stationery' beneath it.
3. On the next page, you'll see a segment featuring photo notebooks. Click anywhere on that segment.
4. On the following page, select the type of notebook you would like to create by clicking 'create now' beneath its picture.
5. Next, choose the album that contains the photo you'd like to use on the cover. Click the button beneath the album and then the yellow 'open this album' button.
6. Then select the photo you'd like to use on the cover, in the same manner.
7. On the following screen, select the background you'd like for the cover. To view more backgrounds, click the blue tabs above the backgrounds that you see on the screen. When you have selected your background, click the yellow 'continue' button.
8. Next, select the font for your personal message, and type the message into the fields provided. You can write a message on the cover and a dedication on the inside. When you have finished, click 'continue.'
9. On the following page, review your notebook. Make sure that everything is exactly as you want it, including spelling. When you are satisfied, click 'add to cart.'
